Terms of Service
Last revised: October 13, 2026
1. Purpose
MasterPost is a local application for managing accounts, content and supported public-comment workflows on social accounts owned or administered by an authorized operator. It is not offered as a public software service. Meta publishing and engagement depend on configured permissions and authorization. The YouTube video publisher is implemented locally and requires Google consent, account eligibility, exact preview and live verification before use. X/Twitter and TikTok remain connection-only adapters requiring separate setup and consent.
2. Authorized use
Only people who own, administer or have express permission to manage the selected accounts may operate MasterPost. Operators must read and agree to the Privacy Policy before using account features. They must comply with applicable laws and the requirements of Meta, Google/YouTube, X, Cloudinary and other enabled services. These terms do not grant access that a provider has not approved.
MasterPost's YouTube integration uses YouTube API Services. By using that integration, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. The YouTube API Developer Policies, Meta Platform Terms and X Developer Policy also govern the respective integrations. MasterPost's policy cannot replace or weaken those obligations.
3. Account security
Operators must protect their devices, local plaintext credential files and backups. Credentials must not be shared publicly or committed to source control. Official OAuth must be used instead of collecting platform passwords. Each account must be confirmed before its tokens are saved to the selected profile. A browser login or connection consent alone is not permission to publish, reply, follow, message or start a schedule.
4. Content and availability
The operator remains responsible for content, rights to footage/music, factual claims, advertising disclosures and approved destinations. Published content must not be spam, misleading, infringing or otherwise prohibited. Unsupported official disclosure labels must not be presented as active. X affiliate promotions that fall within its Paid Partnerships Policy require the applicable native disclosure. YouTube packages explicitly declare audience, visibility, altered/synthetic media and paid promotion. Affiliate/sponsored YouTube videos require the native paid-promotion flag; the operator remains responsible for all other applicable advertising obligations.
Content and destinations must be shown before an authorized automated publication. The operator must be able to change or cancel the workflow. Cross-platform posting does not authorize duplicate/spam campaigns across X accounts. Do not use browser scripting to publish, evade rate limits or replace official APIs. No guarantee is made that scheduled actions will occur at an exact time or remain available on a third-party platform.
5. Third-party services
MasterPost may rely on official Meta APIs, YouTube API Services, X APIs and Cloudinary when enabled. Providers control eligibility, verification, permissions, quotas and pricing. App registration, account verification badges and OAuth app verification are different matters. API fees or subscriptions must not be purchased or enabled without the operator's approval. Local token storage does not make an app verified or exempt it from provider policies.
6. Disclaimer and limitation
MasterPost is provided for local operational use on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, its operator disclaims implied warranties and liability for indirect loss arising from interruptions or platform changes. This does not remove mandatory legal rights, data-protection duties or obligations owed to providers. No claim of official Meta, Google, YouTube or X approval or endorsement is made.
7. Changes
These terms may be updated when functionality, connected services or obligations change. Material changes must be disclosed, and new consent or provider review must be obtained where required. A policy edit alone does not authorize new scopes, new data uses or publication.
